    Greetings Gurus,

We are preparing to install ESP 7.  Does anyone have any additional info outside of the info provided in the release notes on ESP 7.  Before we go live with ESP 7 we want to make sure no other clients have had any bad experiences with ESP 7.  I would specifically like to know if it has caused any problems with Lawson Security 9.  Any insight you can provide would be fantastic.

    Cheers,
    Matthew

We are currently working an issue with Lawson on ESP 7 where HR11 changes and ESS changes are not working when on LS security. I will update the notes with what we find as we work the case today with Lawson but basically in our testing no one could sign up for benefits and changes to HR11 were not able to process.

Just to give a quick update on the issues we found in ESP 7,

We have design studio forms that we have employees agree to payroll deductions, etc. Those forms update a HR11 fields. We had to update the code of the DS forms to default the date in differently. Once that happened we were able to enroll in most benefits in ESS.

We have users update HR11 user fields which do not work with LS security on. This case has been back and forth for over a week without resolution at this point. We had to turn off LS security to walk through testing.

AP20.1 has a button used to move to MA43.1 for matching. There is a PT for this but it breaks RSS and we would have to upgrade RSS to the latest version to install the PT to correct.

Batch jobs are running slowly. Standard reports that normally take seconds to run are running 1 to 1.5 minutes. Not a huge issue until they are scheduled and start tripping over each other. But users will notice the time difference and complain. This PT is in QA and should be out shortly.

I hope this helps others at least know where to look as you test. I will update this post as we resolve.
