    I am a little new to Lawson and have some questions around reviewing Security Reports.

    I have the report showing all security classes, program codes, form IDs, Secured (YES/NO), Unsecured FCs, and Secured FCs.

    My understanding:
    If Secured = YES, then the user has no access to the functions in "Unsecured FCs" and "Secured FCs".

    If Secured = NO, then the user has access to the functions in "Unsecured FCs".
    However, what about the Secured FCs? If these are listed beside Secured = NO, then what does that mean? Who has access to perform these functions on that Form ID?
    Ex. GL20.1
    Secured = NO
    Unsecured FCs = INP
    Secured FCs = ACD

    What does this mean? THANKS!

      The given user class (on form GL20.1) has the ability to Inquire, Scroll Previous and Next records but cannot Add, Change or Delete records. INP is essentially "Inquiry Only" access. In some circumstances, Inquiry Only access is needed by the users because the data is used elsewhere in other modules and applications. For example, GL20.1 is the set up form for Accounting Units. Non GL users need the ability to access Accounting Units from various fields on forms PO20, HR11, AP20 and AP30, etc. Therefore, most users need Inquiry Only access to GL20.1.
