We upgraded from 9.0.0.4 to 9.0.1.5 at the end of March and since then I've noticed several of my Crystal reports are not pulling the same data as they were before. For instance, I have a Contract Spend report that pulls from PURCHORDER, POLINE, MMDIST and MAINVDTL. I only want supply expense data so I'm filtering the data so the report only shows PO line info for certain accounts. The problem is that no inventory lines are in the report now. I think it has something to do with the fact that MMDIST returns null in the account field for inventory lines. My report has "IF {MMDIST.ACCOUNT} = 0" and this worked before the upgrade.

I'd first go check out the report. Likely there were database changes involved in your upgrade and the Crystal may need to be updated to reflect those database changes. Most of the time, just opening the report up will sense the changes, and autofix it. Just save it again, and if you are using LBI, republish.

Thanks Greg. I know exactly what you're referring to. Many of my reports required a database update but this was one that did not. I even tried building the report again but still the inventory is not showing up.

I figured it out. I changed the link to left outer join and the inventory pulled in.
