LBI Synchronizing User and Groups

    Does any one know if it is possible to automate the Synchronize User and Roles fuinction from LBI?  We re trying to automate adding of Lawson users to security and want to be able to sync the user to LBI.

      I have LBI synching daily to bring in new users/roles from security. The options on the tools/synchronization menu for LBI are every 12 hour, daily or weekly. You can manually synch these also.

        Auto synching seems to work, we have our set to every 12 hours.

        Manual synch does NOT work well, unless I first go into Portal and do an IOS Cache Refresh. Without the IOS Cache Refresh, changed or new user info in LSA takes a "long" time to propagate to Portal so that LBI's Synch Users and Groups can see it. (On the order of several hours?)

          Hi, Have you found a good way to set up your LBI application to avoid a lot of maintence? I'm looking for a way to integrate Lawson Security Groups and LBI report rights and LBI reights. I'm trying to avoid assigning individual users to individual reports and use group or role assignments from Lawson Security instead.

            Certain versions of LBI had issues with the auto syncing and deleting. Newest versions out there work like a charm.
