Our company is planning LSF9 and LBI implementations. Our company standard is Webspehere on AIX but it seems LBI needs Websphere on Windows. We are trying to understand the real reason behind it. Why can't LBI work with Websphere on AIX.
Any insight is much appreciated.
Thanks

Part of LBI - namely Scorecard - uses an instance of IIS, and will never go on Unix. There may be other reasons as well.
You can use Apache's Tomcat for Windows (free rather than the license fee for Websphere) but I believe Lawson is trying to steer towards strictly Websphere.
