I am working on a crystal report with three dynamic parameters, one of which I need to use LBI Roles to filter.

I've created structure called Company Number with a number element CompanyNum.  I then set up Group rights to different Company Numbers depending on the Company. (I've done before with Facility Name and bursting was successful, so I'm pretty sure this part is all correct).  I have since then tried a combination of customizing the Company Report Parameter to set equal to Reporting Rights > CompanyNumber:CompanyNum as well as setting bursting options for CompanyNum = ?Company, and CompanyNum = report.CompanyNumber but neither are working.  I have my role set to a specific company but I am still able to select each one of the company numbers and no filtering is actually being applied.  Is there another step i'm missing in order to accomplish this?

The report itself is an income statement, consisting of 50+ sub reports.  The container report only has those three parameters linked to each of the individual reports, with no filtering on the container.  I have tried removing the company number parameter completely from the container and each of the sub reports and set bursting options, with no luck.

Are you using the LBI generated parameters or did you delete those in order to use the full BOBJ parameter pages and functionality?

If the former you should be able to do what you are trying to do by setting the available values for each parameter to be equal to a Reporting Rights. See "Modifying report parameters" in the "Data Filtering" chapter of the user guide for details.

If youre using the latter, Im not too sure theres an easy way around this but regardless, even if the user can select a company, they should only see the data they are authorized to see in your Structure when the report renders. IF thats not the case then you have something a bit more fundamentally wrong with your bursting set up.
