I built my IC12 addin with the Date Added field, but I'm getting an invalid date error when I try to upload my data.

    Ctl+Shift+O tells me it's a TEXT field.

What date value should it be?

We don't map it at all and it defaults to the date you upload.

I initially didn't have the Added Date field mapped either, but received a Field required error. I assumed (incorrectly) that the Added Date field is what I was missing.

I have Company, Location, Item, Description, Description 2 and Active Status.

Not sure what other fields are required since the error message doesn't indicate what is missing.

Is there a way to find out what fields are required when building an addin?

The descriptions populate from IC11, my map for IC12 is:
          a. f3 Company: 1
          b. f6 Location:
          c. f9 Item: The Lawson Number
          d. f13 GL category: the four digit GL Code (see IC04 for more info)
          e. f16 Tracking Fl: Y
          f. f19 Allow Rec Fl: Y
          g. f23 Allow Issue Fl: Y
          h. f27 Pat Charge Fl: N
          i. f34 Bin Track Fl: Y
          j. f37 Prefer Bin: The bin location (requires IC15 record exists)
          k. f81 Lead Ctrl CD: S

As far as I know, Company, Loc, Item and GL Category are the required fields.

After you process your upload and get your error, if you click on the icon with the magnifying glass on the addins wizard - View the last upload query sent, you will get the call string. Copy all of the information here and paste it into your Lawson browser. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you should see the error message that is causing your upload to fail.

              Thank you Kat and Cindy!!

I was able to get the addin to work and I'll keep the other information for the next time I get an error.

              Thanks again so much!!
