Lot Tracking and Requisitions

    We're batting around the idea of lot tracking for some of the Cath Lab inventory items.  I was playing in our test system and set an item to lot tracking at receipt.  Everything seemed to work as expected- I had to enter the lot and exp date upon adding the receiver and also when issuing the item in IC21.  But when I created a requisition, ran WH130 and finished and released the shipment in WH32, Lawson didn't require any lot entry.  Am I missing something?

      You can set lot tracking either for on receipt or for on issue, but not both. It's been a couple of years since I tested it (and it hasn't come up since), but my guess is they haven't changed things.

        I understand if you only want to track as it goes out but if you want to track as it comes in you have to track it going out too. Unless the system just assumes FIFO. It's very possible you could have multiple lots on the shelf and someone grabs a newer lot.
