How does/can the WH32 be used in the day to day operation of Supply Chain?

How does this job and the data it appears to be capturing fit into the Supply Chain daily process?

WH32 is used to provide shipping feedback for pick tickets if you're not using MSCM.

Ok, so it's just there to capture/log information, but not necessary to use if MSCM is in place?

We are using mobile supply chain.

Another question - How does the IC527 work?

The IC527 creates an item master interface file in HL7 format. You can use the 'Form Help' feature in Portal to get a description of the form functionality.

If you are using pick for par on MSCM - it is populating the WH32 for you. Otherwise, you might be running WH132s on a schedule?

Basically when the par counts are sent - they create allocations. WH32/WH132/Pick For Par is what tells the system the items are issued and not just allocated.

IC527 is for sending your item master info out to other systems. It's kind of like a canned sql report from Lawson.
