Checking For Comments

    Client has requested a Process Flow be triggered when a specific type of Comment is entered on PO30 (Receiving). How to trigger the flow is not the problem. The problem is how do I know they have pushed the comment button and written out an attachment. Is there an event I could check, or am I going to have to go out and see if one has been written out for todays date? Anyone done anything like this?

      Terry - I think you're going to have to check using getattachrec since even if they click Add Comment, you won't know for sure they added a comment. The question is going to be when to check. You have to add the Receiver in order to add a comment so when do you check that a comment has been added?

      I'm guessing you'll have to check for comments after a Release function has been performed.
