    Greetings!

I am extremely new to Lawson with absolutely no training or support documentation to refer to.

I'm looking for some help on a couple of issues that I am having. By way of background, I am working with an environment that has been mirrored from a different domain & added to ours. I spent days finding & changing all the server references to get everything talking to the databases. We are running Lawson 8.0.1.3 on SQL Server 2000. 2 web servers & a database with a 4th server that is only used for crystal reports, as far as i can tell.

First, as the title indicates, my pages for bookmarks & adding users are blank. They were functional last week & I can think of no change that I made that would cause this. Any insight?

Second, certain .asp reports are giving me SQL errors but other reports are working as designed. All bookmarks were updated to point to the new servers. By tweaking the url's I was able to start generating an ODBC error on both web servers. Now that I have changed it back to the original web server, it is back to the old behavior of timing out.

    Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80040E14)
    [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Line 1: Incorrect syntax near ')'.
    /lawson/imark/WeeklySales/ActivityReports/Payment_Aging.asp, line 66

Possible info on the bookmark issue from application event log:

WIN32Error: enumusers.c(227): Domain\User: laua.exe: LookupAccountSid - No mapping between account names and security IDs was done.

Marvel, the Lawson environment stores usernames mapped to the user's "NTxxxx" (used internally by Lawson) and their respective mapping to SIDs in the registry on the server.  So my guess is that when the environment was moved to a new server/domain, your mappings are no longer valid.  See this post, which sounds like a similar problem: https://www.lawsonguru.co...tid/650/Default.aspx

Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

Thank you John! Very useful info on LDAP in that thread, which I can definitely use since this environment has been moved from one domain to another- this is something that I will need to pursue in the near future.

The odd thing is that the bookmarks were working last week, as were the user groups. I did try to add an additional domain for LDAP authentication & that may have been the breaking point- I have since removed all references to the new domain from the config files & rebooted.. severazl times. I've been doing a bit of reading on this forum & another & am wondering if running LO920 might fix the issue. Thing is, I have no documentation & have no idea of how to execute this command, other than it is executed from the desktop client. Can you tell me how?
