MS Addins install that limits to Query only capability

    As part of our LSF 9.0 implementation we are upgrading MS Addins. We would like to allow query only capability without providing the Upload even when some people may have update rights to the screen in Portal.
    I know by removing the 2 upload wizard files you can prevent uploads from being done but I was curious how you bundled that process to provide users or people to install MS Addins and ensure these wizards are not installed.

      Personlly, I don't know any way to limit users who install the Add-ins on their own - we perfomr the installs for them.

        Would it not be possible to dump and load the LawsonQueryToolsRole as LawsonQueryOnlyTool, then change all of the access to "I" only? I am going to have to try this soon.

          I am going to run into this issue soon. My idea was to dump and load the LawsonQueryTools role as LawsonQueryOnly role, then change the AddIns class rules to all "I". Would this not work?
