Requisition Approval Codes
This file defines an approval process. These codes are assigned to
requesters to identify the approval hierarchy for all requisitions entered by
that requester.

Company The company number represents an
established company and is entered on
all function codes.
RAC-APPROVE-CD Alpha 5 RQ02.1
Approval Code This is a user-defined code to identify
the approval process (levels) that a
requisition has to pass before it can be
picked or purchased.
RAC-DESCRIPTION Alpha 30 (Lower Case) RQ02.1
Description This is the description of the approval
code.
RAC-SKIP-LVLS-FL Alpha 1 RQ02.1
Skip Approval This flag indicates whether a higher
Levels Flag level approver can approve a requisition
before a lower level approver has
approved the requisition.
Select No if all the levels must
approve the requisition in order.
Select Yes if upper approval levels can
approve the requisition without passing
through each prior approval level.

Authorization Print This flag indicates whether the

Requisitions). When the requisition is
entered, this flag defaults onto the
requisition. The system determines this
by the requester creating the
requisition. Every requester is required
to have an approval code assigned to it.

Authorization This is the authorization identifier
Identification for the approver to access the
requisitions requiring approval at this
level. The approver uses this ID to
access the requisition information in
RQ12.1 (Approval Review).
RAC-AUTH-NAME Alpha 30 Occurs 6 Times RQ02.1
Authorization Name This is the header field for the
approver names defined for requisition
approval levels.
RAC-AUTH-LIMIT Numeric 9 Occurs 6 Times RQ02.1
Authorization Limit This is the header field for the
authorization limit fields defined for
requisition approval levels.
RAC-AUTH-NAME1 Derived
Auth Name1 This is the name of the person assigned
to the first requisition-approval level.
The name prints on the requisition when
you run RQ111 (Print Requisitions) and
displays in RQ44.2 (Requisition Detail
Inquiry).
Note: Auth Name1 and Auth Limit1 are
required; all others (Auth Name2 and
Auth Limit2 through Auth Name6 and Auth
Limit6) are optional.
Unless the Skip Approval Levels flag is
set to Yes, the approval process starts
with the lowest approval level, which is
actually the highest numbered name and
limit field. Auth Name1/Auth Limit1 is
checked after Name2/Limit2. If you have
two levels set up, Name2/Level2 is the
lowest level of approval.
RAC-AUTH-NAME2 Derived
Auth Name2 This is the name of the person assigned
to the second requisition-approval
level. The name prints on the
requisition when you run RQ111 (Print
Requisitions) and displays in RQ44.2
(Requisition Detail Inquiry).

Auth Name3 This is the name of the person assigned
to the third requisition-approval level.

Auth Name4 This is the name of the person assigned
to the fourth requisition-approval
level. The name prints on the
requisition when you run RQ111 (Print
Requisitions) and displays in RQ44.2
(Requisition Detail Inquiry).
RAC-AUTH-NAME5 Derived
Auth Name5 This is the name of the person assigned
to the fifth requisition-approval level.
The name prints on the requisition when
you run RQ111 (Print Requisitions) and
displays in RQ44.2 (Requisition Detail
Inquiry).
RAC-AUTH-NAME6 Derived
Auth Name6 This is the name of the person assigned
to the sixth requisition-approval level.
The name prints on the requisition when
you run RQ111 (Print Requisitions) and
displays in RQ44.2 (Requisition Detail
Inquiry).
RAC-AUTH-LIMIT1 Derived
Auth Limit1 This is the lower limit amount used to
compare to the total value of a
requisition. The limit is used to
determine whether a requisition has to
be approved at this level.
