The Employee Compensation History file contains compensation and hours of
service by plan year for defined contribution and defined benefit plans.
PR199 (Payroll Close) updates this file for employees enrolled in defined
contribution and defined benefit benefits.

of the base pay class in BN00.1
(Benefits Company). Each plan in BN16.1
(Defined Contribution Plan) and BN17.1
(Defined Benefit Plan) can be set up as
either total or base pay
(PLN-TOT-BASE-FLAG = "T" or "B").
Compensation is tracked in the Payroll
system in the PAYWAGE file. The amount
from the PYW-AMOUNT is updated into this
field by PR199 (Payroll Close).

Hours Hours of Service is tracked by total PR197
hours or by base pay class defined in
BN00.1 (Benefits Company). Each plan in
BN16.1 (Defined Contribution Plan) and
BN17.1 (Defined Benefit Plan) can be set
up as either total or base pay
(PLN-TOT-BASE-FLAG = "T" or "B"). Hours
worked are tracked in the Payroll
system in the PAYWAGE file. The amount
from PYW-HOURS is updated into this
field by PR199 (Payroll Close).
