AC16

AC16.1 - Summary Account Category Attributes

Use Summary Account Category Attributes (AC16.1) to
assign attributes to a summary account category. An attribute is either a
Lawson or a user-defined category to track additional information for a
summary
account category. You can only select values from user-defined attributes
defined for the Account Category (ACCAT) object type. Attributes are defined
in MX00.1 (Attribute). Attribute values are used to create lists on MX10.
A summary account category list is a group of summary account categories
created
using attribute values to select list members. These lists can then be used
for batch processing and reporting.

AC16.2 - Detail Account Category Attributes

Use Detail Account Category Attributes (AC16.2) to
assign attributes to a detail account category. An attribute is either a
Lawson
or a user-defined category to track additional information for a detail
account
category. You can only select values from user-defined attributes defined
for the Account Category (ACCAT) object type. Attributes are defined in MX00.1
(Attribute). Attribute values are used to create lists on MX10. A detail
account
category list is a group of detail account categories created using attribute
values to select list members. These lists can then be used for batch
processing
and reporting.

rebuild and preview the account category list by evaluating the attribute
values assigned to summary and detail account categories and including those
that qualify as list members based on the parameters on List (MX10.1).

Use Manual List (AC16.4) to make changes to list
members for account category lists defined in MX10.1 (List). You cannot add
a manual list on this form, but rather must convert an automatic list to a
manual list, and then maintain the manual list on this form.

AC16.5 - Account Category List Copy

The existing account category list must first have been defined in MX10.1
(List).

AC16.6 - Account Category View Preview

Use Account Category View Preview (AC16.6) to
review the account category view structure you have created. Views can
incorporate
multiple account category lists to build a reporting hierarchy that is
independent
of the account category structure, and allows you to create subtotals,
underline
rules, and enter labels to be assigned totals. Account Category View Preview
(AC16.6) allows
you to view the hierarchy and total structure created through account category
lists.

AC16.7 - Attribute Value Effective Date

Use Attribute Value Effective Date (AC16.7) to
add, change or delete an effective dated attribute value for a summary or
detail account category. Attribute values can be defined using effective date
templates. Templates contain predefined values that are assigned to the
attribute
on an assigned effective date.

**More Information

Choose the By Attribute Date button to assign values to multiple account
groups by attribute and effective date.

AC16.8 - Attribute Values By Effective Date

Use Attribute Values by Effective Date (AC16.8) to
assign values to multiple account categories by attribute and effective date.
This allows you to assign an "as of" date to the attribute value, which is
updated on the account categories when you run Attribute Effective Date Update
(AC135).

AC16.9 - Account Category Values By Attribute

Use Account Category Values by Attribute (AC16.9) to
assign values to specific account category attributes for both summary and
detail account categories across multiple structures, if needed. These
user-defined
attributes function as additional form fields. After assigning attribute
values
in Account Category Values by Attribute (AC16.9), you
can select and sort attribute values for account category reporting and
analysis.
