Work Order Byproducts
The Work Order Byproducts file contains information about byproducts that are
produced as a result of the process that creates the finished good.

Element: Company This field contains the company number,
as defined in the Inventory Control
system.
WOB-LOCATION Alpha 5
Element: Location This field contains a valid stock
location within the company inventory.
It is also the production facility
where finished goods are produced.
WOB-WORK-ORDER Numeric 8
Element: Work Order This identifies the work order and may
be automatically assigned or manually
assigned, depending on the option
defined for each production (inventory)
location.
WOB-WORK-ORDER-SUF Numeric 2
Element: Work Order SufThis will normally be zero for a work
order. If you chose to split a work
order so the completed part of the
finished goods can be available for
allocation, the work order created for
the remaining quantity will have a
non-zero value in this field.
WOB-SEQ Numeric 3
Element: Seq This field contains the sequence number
of the byproduct on the work order.
WOB-ITEM Alpha 32
Element: Item This field contains the item identifier
of the byproduct, as defined in the
Inventory Control system.
WOB-QUANTITY Signed 13.4
Element: Quantity This is the estimated quantity of the
byproduct that will be produced by this
work order.
WOB-ACTUAL-QTY Signed 13.4
Element: Quantity This is the actual quantity of the
byproduct that was produced for the work
order.
WOB-DETAIL-QTY Signed 13.4
Element: Quantity This field shows the total quantity of
details defined for a detail tracked
item. It is matched against the line
quantity field to determine if details
are in balance.
WOB-WALK-THRU-REQ Alpha 1
Element: Req Comments This field indicates that a transaction
line is out of balance. For example, if
lot, bin, or serial number quantities do
not equal the transaction quantity,
select the WalkThru form action to
balance the transaction quantities.
WOB-FGV-AMOUNT Signed 18.5
Element: Intl Cost The finished good variance amount on a
work order byproduct is the result of a
cost being returned from inventory for a
byproduct on a reverse work order.
