BN66.1 - Estimated Pay Calculation
Use Estimated Pay Calculation (BN66.1) to estimate an employee's net
income for one pay period.
**Processing Effect
If you transferred directly from BN65.2 (Contribution Simulation), the
application uses the simulated elections and annual contributions from BN65.2.
Based on the flex dollars the employee received and pre-tax and after-tax
contributions, the application uses BSI (Business Software, Inc.) tax tables
to calculate withholding amounts. You can also type an amount for any
payroll-related
deductions, such as union dues, to fully simulate the employee's take home
pay.
You can also type the amount of net income that an employee wants, and
the Benefits application calculates the gross pay needed to cover
the elected benefits.
