Inventory Forecast
The Inventory Forecast file stores the forecasted demand of an item at a
location. This demand is in units and/or amounts by year and period. These
valid forecast numbers can be attached to the Item Location records using
IC12.1 (Item Location).

IFO-COMPANY Numeric 4
Element: Company Identifies the AP company if the
resource type = V. Identifies the HR
company if the resource type = E. It is
blank for type A, P or Q resources.
IFO-LOCATION Alpha 5
Element: Location This field contains a valid stocking
location within the company inventory.
IFO-ITEM Alpha 32
Element: Item This field contains the item
identifier.
IFO-FORECAST-YEAR Numeric 4
Element: Forecast Year This field contains the inventory year
of the forecast.
IFO-FORECAST-NBR Numeric 4
Element: Forecast Nbr This field contains the number assigned
to a forecast for an item. An item can
have multiple forecasts at the same
location.
IFO-QUARTER Numeric 1
Element: Quarter This field is used if weekly periods
are defined in IC01.2 (Dates). Enter
weekly period forecasts by the quarter.
First quarter (1-13).
Second quarter (14-26)
Third quarter (27-39).
Fourth quarter (40-52).*
*Leap year only fourth quarter (40-53).
During leap year only, you can set up
14 weekly periods in the fourth quarter.
0 = For Monthly Companies
1 = 1st Quarter
2 = 2nd Quarter
3 = 3rd Quarter
4 = 4th Quarter
IFO-FORECAST-QTY Numeric 9 Occurs 14 Times
Element: Forecast Qty This field contains the forecast
quantity.
IFO-FORECAST-AMT Numeric 13 Occurs 14 Times
Element: Forecast Amt This field contains the forecast amount.
