PA34.1 - Applicant Education
**Form Purpose
Use Applicant Education (PA34.1) to track applicant education information.
The Personnel Administration system uses education information to determine
whether an applicant is qualified to perform a job. An applicant's education
must have a complete date to meet the education requirement of a job.
**Processing Effect
When you employ applicants by using Hire an Applicant (PA52.4), the
information from this screen updates to Education (PA20.1); you do not have to
re-type information.

APPLICANT - The Applicant file maintained by this program on add. Updates
APL-LAST-EPC-SEQ.

CKPOINT - The Check Point file is the environment file used for recovery.
EMPCODES - The Emp/App Personnel Codes file is the main file updated by
this program. Records have EPC-TYPE = ED.
PACOMMENTS - The Personnel Comments file deletes personnel comments with
PAC-CMT-TYPE = ED.
