IA120 - Data Mart Load
Use Data Mart Load (IA120) to define the parameters that are required for
building the outline and loading data into the Essbase data mart.
** Process at a glance
1. Load the preassigned data mart types.
2. Create an OLAP destination.
3. Define the data mart.
4. Define the dimensions for the data mart.
5. Define the information transfer profile.
6. (YOU ARE HERE) Load the data mart.
** Field Descriptions
Profile Name Select the name of your information transfer profile.
Transformation Method: Select 1 for Essbase, 2 for CSV, 3 for XML. If your
transformation method is Essbase, enter your Essbase Login and password. If
your transformation method is CSV choose the CSV tab and complete the
following additional fields that appear.
Update Option - Select No if the CSV output will never be loaded into the
Essbase data mart. Select Yes if you will update your Essbase data mart with
the CSV file. When you select Yes, Analytic Architect sets a timestamp of the
data that is included in the CSV file. By including a timestamp, you will be
sure to load all the data when you run incremental loads in the future. If
your transformation method is XML choose the XML tab and select Yes or No to
transfer the data mart to an ASP location.

Updated Files
CKPOINT - This program updates the CKPOINT data file with the restart
position of the recovered batch job.
DATASOURCE - This program updates the Data Load Date and Data Load Time
fields in the DATASOURCE data file.

MEMBER - This program references the MEMBER data file for the member
names for which UDA and alias names must be updated.
OLAPDBM - This program uses the OLAPDBM data file with outline and data
load information. This file is also updated with a time stamp
that includes the date and time that the job was run.
OLAPDIM - This program updates the OLAPDIM data file with the dimensions
it needs to build an outline.
