We are planning to ugrade our iSeries OS to v6r1. Currently we are on v8.1 of applications & v8.03 of the environment. Lawson does not support v6r1 with v8.1. Has anyone done this? What issues should we be on the look out for?

We are also an iSeries shop. Have you upgraded to V6R1 on with your Lawson V8 yet? We will be doing testing soon to see how it works. We have a test box that we will upgrade to V6R1 and test everything. We also are on ENV=8.0.3.7 APP=8.1.0.2. We will soon be going to LSF9, and will keep our old V8 running on a historical iSeries which we will upgrade to V6R1.

Not yet in production. We have set up a test box with v6r1 and now Lawson App = v8.1.2 Env = v8.0.3.7 running on it. We've done a far amount of testing and have not found any issues so far. Please let me know if you find any issues while testing. Our plan is to upgrade to v9.0.1 either this fall or next spring. I have heard that LSF9 had some issues with LDAP on v6r1. Have you heard about that?

Our plan is to upgrade to 9.0.1 in the next 3-5 months. We are installing and migrating data now in test.
I saw that Lawson posted that there is a fix for the LDAP problem. An IBM patch is part of the resolution. We will be using ADAM so I do not think that would have affected us. But it sounds like it is resolved. I will let you know if we find any issues on V6R1 with V8, it might be a month or two or three before we get to the point of testing that. We are trying to focus more on 9.0.1 right now.
