Tracking pick tickets with barcode

      Hello,

      I was wondering if we can track pick-tickets with barcode, we pick close to 4,000 lines a day for 5 Health care facilities. I would like to implement bar code tracking for picking and shipping purpose. This would help us better track mispicks, lost pick-tickets and increase production with our crew.

        If you are using Lawson's Receiving and Delivery then you can pick your goods on the handhelds and print a bar code delivery ticket which can then be tracked when the delivery of your goods are made.

        Are you looking for a solution outside of MSCM?

          Does MSCM Receiving and Delivery allow you to track Delivery Tickets as well as Pick Tickets?

            Yes, with MSCM RAD you track delivery tickets. You can also track transfer shipments, although this is not widely used. You don't really track pick tickets per se. The nice thing about MSCM RAD is that you receive BOTH PO related and non-PO related dock receipts, then use bar coding to deliver them to the floors. And the best part is that MSCM offers a tracking 'web site' that allows users to see the status of their receipts and deliveries, very similar to what you do with UPS.
