Hello, let me first say that I am an novice in LAWSON and am just now learning the basics.  We entered a wrong Effective Date for a SEPARATION in PA52.1.  I found some documentation (and training materials on MyLawson.com) on the topic of "Essentials of History Correction".  Upon trying the procedure in 54.1 I received an error: "Pending history correction records must be updated first."

Can someone explain to me what I need to do next?  I am at a loss to understand....

Thank you!

I've found here that it means that something was probably entered retroactively - not sure if this will work for you, but we go to PA55 and delete pending records there if necessary.  However, since it's a bad date AND relating to a termination, you may need to reverse the action using the special processing options on PA52.1 or 52.5

Stephanie,

Thanks for your reply.  I was able to get the history corrected/cleared out manually thanks to a coworker with Lawson experience.

Thank you!
