In the test environment, I am receiving a pop up box that says Benfit enrollment rules are net set up for employee.  I reviewed chapter 7 in the Lawson ESMSS Guide regarding Web Benefits Enrollments and as fas as I can tell all the necessary set up seems to be done.  Am I missing something?  I am using version 9.0.1.9.153  I do not have any issues in production.

Is the employee a member of the group(s) you have set up on the BS01?

I would like to say yes as I am able to execute life event enrollments with the test employee. To confirm, what screen would I find the employee group this person is assigned to?

YOu can drill around on the employee number and see all the groups or run a HR255 with the report option of 2.

I drilled around and verified the employee is in the right group. Any other suggestions or a direction on where to look.

What type of enrollment? Annual or New Hire? Have you made certain you have a specific enrollment set (via the Rule Type flag on BS01) for the group the employee is in? You also need to make certain that they proper enrollment plan rules are set up (BS03.1 or BS03.3, respectively).

This is for a new hire. I compared BS01 and BS03.1 in production and test and the set up is the same.

If it is for a new hire enrollment, you have to make certain that you have a rule on BS01 set up for New Hire enrollment (the second flag on BS01=N) and that you set up the New Hire plans on BS03.3 (03.1 is for Annual only).

And you'd also need to be using the ESS-New Hire Enrollment bookmark and not the ESS-Benefit Enrollment bookmark.

I found the issue. It seems that I need to run every day HR55.3 and change the to/from date by one day each day to update. I thne need to run everyday HR155 to finish the process. Can anyone confirm what I am doing is standard Lawson procedure or am I crazy.

It sounds like you have a pretty detailed employee group if you are including dates. We base our new hire enrollment on a BenDate (HR11) which can be set at the plan level (Entry Rule, BN16) and don't have to worry about updating groups. Or you can control how long people can enroll based on a "From date" of your choosing on BS05.

I am new to Lawson (SAP background) and learning on the fly. I think we do it to ourselves. In production, I see BS05 is set for 30 days based on adjusted hire date. BenDate fields in HR11 are blank and based on the Plan choices when I select Health as a Benefit Type, we are not using BN16. In BN16, with a Benefit Type=HL, the Plan choices in the drop down are Dependent Care, Flex, or Unreimbursed Medical. If the configuration was set to use the functionality in BN16, should I see the medical plans as a choice for the Plans with a Benefit Type=HL?
