Print Files & Job Scheduler

Our Portal Print Files and Job Scheduler screens(active, waiting, completed) take over a minute to load. Can anyone provide tips on what might be causing this?

What versions / platforms ?

Do you regularly run 'deljobhst' to clean out old jobs ?

We are on 8.03 Apps, 3.0.10.1 Portal and Unix platform. IT only cleans out jobs when they think we need it - nothing is scheduled. What is an appropriate schedule to run that job - weekly, monthly?

I would start with running it every 30 days.
