Has anyone used a html report in LBI that is updated on a regular basis? This html file will be updated daily and I was hoping to access it by LBI instead of a portal bookmark.

I have created new LBI reports with a html file but since the html content does not change this has not come up before now. It looks like I would have to republish it daily which is not practical.

There is not any syntax hints for the Address field either.

From LBI manual:
"URL Reports
You can use this feature to include a URL to another reporting server, web
site, report, or non-report file. You can also use this feature to publish a
Transaction (AGS), Data (DME), or Drill (IDA) call, which you can include on a
reporting list or dashboard."

I"m on LBI 9.0.4 - Thanks

Don't treat it as a report: Just treat it like a website and link to it...
ie. http://server.domain.com/...son/report_name.html in the URL box from a dashboard.

You may have to play with the placement of the report, but this works well for us.

Or you could open it as a file: FILE:///P:/folder/names/go/here/report.html

In your website link idea, do you link to your Windows LBI server?

In your FILE example idea, is that a path to your Windows LBI server?

I was able to get it to work using your link idea, Greg. Location of file on my unix server is here: /lawprod/web/lawson

Link on New Report in LBI: http://server/lawson/file.htm

Muchas Gracias, have a great weekend!
