Upload Assets to AM Module

am94, am95 and am96 for asset, book and depreciation information are the programs to use.

you can run the update programs i report only mode to check whether the asset is getting updated right before you run the program in update mode. Also another item tocheck is the je getting generated for asset addition.

Good morning. You can upload the missed info directly to AM20.2 via MS Add-In's.

To upload new assets via MS Addin, you can use AM15 and then run AM115 like you would if the template was added to AP or PO.

You can also shut off the journal entry review using AM16. Then you can upload to AM20.1 and not get in trouble with the auto transfer to AM20.5. It will still post the JE to GL, but it allows you to skip the review.

I don't think you can use AM20.2 because adding will prompt the transfer to AM20.3 etc.

For isolated cases, I have asked AP people to go into AP30.2 - Invoice Distribution Reclass", reverse the orginal posting and re-enter with a Template. That is time consuming for multiple entries, but I have found it useful for the ocassional missed Template.

If i delete a record from AM 15.1 where does that entry go ?

I am looking for an upload template for Cash Book 15.1 and 15.2.
