Hi,

We use bookmarks in Portal to view reports on our old LRS server. They use a link like-

http://server.com:18001/e...te?fsid=RS:RS-Lawson LRS/LBI Server:806

Is the the fsid the SID etc? I have tried a similar link to the new LBI box and also used a link like-

http://newserver.com:9080...25&INSTANCEID=LATEST with different permutations, and still no luck.

What am I missing? I have been sifting through Lawsons KB and came across older information for the early versions of RS, but nothing for the new.

To get from portal to LBI I have been using is a bookmark like http://server:9081/efs/go. But this doesn't take them to a particular report if that was your intent.

To see the proper URL string do the following:
>Create a dashboard
>Create a module with in the dashboard
>Add a Link to the module
>Do a search for a report
>Select the radio box next to any report
>Click Save

In the URL text box you will see somthing similar to FSRemote?fsid=RS:RS-Lawson LRS/LBI Server:806

You can also see the fsid from the Tools dashboard under Mange Services but its not as self explanitory as the above method.

Thanks Matthew, I go the following for a link-FSRemote?fsid=RS:RS-Reporting Services:25.
When I click to goto this link I go nowhere, and get a blank page.

Instead what I have found is the following link which works...I just change the report ID for different reports-

http://servername:9080/er...25&InstanceID=Latest

Why would your solution not work? That is much easier to deal with than my long link.

maybe because you need the full URL if you are putting it in a bookmark. Try:

http://lbiserver/efs/FSRe...fsid=RS:RS-Reporting Services:25.

Hmm...still a dead link. I put in http://xxx.domain.xxx:9080/efsblahblah
and it still pulls a blank.

Does it bring the report up?

Looks like there is a problem with your Reporting Services registered service in Framework Services. I would re-register if I were you.

From what you're showing here, it does look like the service name isn't matching the fsid parameter...it needs to match the service name for Reporting services as defined during the install of the services into LBI/EFS.

In LBI, go to Tools, then Services, then click on one of the Reporting Services icons in the dashboard.
In the 'Register Service' panel, you will see the 'Provider Id' listed for that service.

Thanks John, I went out and checked and the providerid is RS-Reporting
Services.

My exact link for the report is-

The above link though pulls up a blank page with-

The report is valid and does run if I use this link-

Do the following:

>Go to Tools dashboard
>Click on the Services link under System Administration
>Click on Display XXXXX RS Report link under the XXXX RS module

What URL do you have? It should be something like:

http://lbiserver:9080/ers...eport=true&REPORTID=

If not I would recommend Removing the RS Module and re-Registering Reporting Services with FS.
