Max export to excel ?

I recently ran a report where the result set was close to 200,000. I know this would require excel to have 4 sheets.

Instead of finishing it prompted for a login information and asked for a refreshed data set

Does LBI start to have a problem exporting to excel after so many records?

im not sure but Excel 2007 supports over 1 million rows. No sure what method LBI uses to generate the excel file. try putting in a where clause to limit your records to under 63,000 and that should at least answer your question as to if the record count is the issue.

You could export to data only (unless this is scheduled).

Good point about the record count.

I actually ran the report twice with a date range that would give me 150,000 for the first, and about 60,000 for the second run, and both went to excel fine, but the complete result set (a little over 210,000) won't finish.

hmmm, i wonder if its a data issue. have you looked in your log files to see if there are any exceptions when the report doesnt export?
