Cannot configure M3 Transactions in Process Designer

Whenever I attempt to configure an M3 Transaction node in the Process Designer application, I am given an error upon clicking "Build" in the properties pane. 

 

After clicking OK the M3 Program Query Wizard does launch, but there are no M3 programs/transactions available to choose from. The program should have a list of available APIs, and when selected the available transactions for the selected program should populate.

Sounds like your login and/or password are not valid for the DB. It also could be that it doesn't have the required permissions for the DB.

We've attempted several logins with multiple usernames (one of which can access the M3 Transactions) and all returned the same error.

found the issue. We needed to add the domain to the end of the server name in our configuration setup in rich client.
