Adding a Total field using JavaScript

I don't have much experience with Design Studio and in need of help. I'm trying to add a field to display the grand total of a purchase order. On the available data src, there is no field for grand total, so I will have to add one using calculation of existing field values. I want the total to display, of course, after a successful inquiry.

I would like to use the "Inquire" button to trigger the calculation - how do I go about doing it?

i could create a DME query based on the PO number entered by the user, but I don't know how to use it with Design Studio, either :-/

What form are you wanting to do this on? PO20.1 or something else. The totals are on PO20.5 (when you click Total from PO20.1 it takes you there). You can look on that screen to see the table name, and then add it on PO20.5 if you want.
