Hi Everyone,

We are receiving the following error with an employee that is currently in flex spending (RS) for $5000 for 2012 and goes through Web Enrollment Open Enrollment where the new maximum is $2500 for 2013:

"You cannot enroll in this benefit at this time. (Contribution amount is > than annual maximum amount,_f0) "

It then lists the employee as being "ineligible" for the Flex Spending Benefit. Any employee that had a 2012 election for $2500 or less is not affected.

Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this error in the Web Enrollment screens?

Thanks!

I just tested this in our setup with someone that is currently enrolled in $5000 and we get the message on the right hand side of the screen:

Contribution is no longer valid, the annual amount maximum is 2500

In the Option selections, the employee only has the option to change the coverage or select a different plan. Only employees that are enrolled under $2500
have the option to keep the same coverage too.

The only thing we did is set up the new annual limit effective 1/1/2013 on BN18.5
