Employee did not enter all their time for prior pay cycle 5/16 so his accruals need to be adjusted. The problem is that LP140 did not create the accrual. The EE last accrual date was 5/30 on the LP31, do I need to change any of the dates on LP31? Employee has service records on the EMPSERV for pay period end date 5/16.

Did you run the LP140 with the retroactive accruals flag and rerun flags set to yes? We always run ours that way and haven't had a problem. I hope I didn't just jinx us by saying that.

Hi Margie, thank you for your quick response. Yes, I ran LP140 with the retroactive accruals flag and rerun flags to yes. Do you know how to set to run from x cycle through date on LP140? Do you know what's the field name in LP140 that would have the pay cycle date?

You can run the PR140 with a through date. You could look at the TEMPSERV table to see what the records in question look like. You may want to look at the technical text or data file text for the PR140 and that table.

You may need to open a CASE or Incident for your specific issue.

One more last thing, do you know if I I could blank out the last accrual end date on LP31 to run LP140?

Yes. You can. I would make note of what it is in case you don't like the results. That way you can change it back and rerun again.

What is a retroactive accrual as far as Absence Management?
