PA52.1 - "Grade Not Found In Schedule" Error

We have just closed out a project which saw all of our employees globally receive a Schedule and Grade (previously only our US-based employees had these populated). We have made the new schedules in PA95 effective 01-JUN-2014, same with HR06 job codes. However, when we now try to process any PA52.1 action (even those not tied to PA02) effective prior to 01-JUN-2014, we are receiving the error: "Grade Not Found In Schedule".

I have more than a sneaking suspicion that this is directly related to the new Schedule/Grade structures. Does anybody know if there is a workaround that would allow us to process historic actions without running into this error? Our current solution is to reverse out the action that implemented the Schedule/Grade, process the historic action and then re-enter that reorg action back on top.

Please tell me we're not looking at that as a permanent solution?

Congrats on posting!
The first time you build the schedule and grade it is usually best to use an effective date that will not run into this issue, like 01/01/1950. I think your solution will be to build the schedules with an older date, just copy the ones you have and add them with a past dated effective date.
