I've just been hearing noises that another option (and I do believe it's AllTax) will ultimately be offered, especially after the latest BSI upgrade. It'll be interesting to hear if someone is actually using something else at this time -

Hi Steph... I have a power point on AllTax and that looks like it may be available already. I also got wind of another package called Vertex but have not seen anything specific on that.

We are going to do some research into Vertex. If anyone has had experience with them, I'd love to get some feedback. 

We're still having significant BSI issues as our employees travel constantly.  Hoping that the 10f update has some significant impact as all the other updates have done little to nothing.  Has anyone seen a difference after updating to BSI 10f?

Hey Beate - just an FYI: I reached out to Vertex (simply because of the nightmare BSI has become to work with) and they came back and said that "Currently we do have the ability to integrate with any Lawson products"   Hmmmm .... 

Any website or info on AllTax? All I can find is a small tax shop in Michigan.

There may not be an independent website, as it was owned by GEAC, which is now part of Infor

Our business is traveling shows.  Our employees reside all over the country and travel across several state lines in any given week to work.  We, like many of you, are having terrible problems with BSI and reciprocity.  I would like to have a discussion with someone who has a similar business model where they have people working across multiple states in any given pay cycle. My goal is to discuss our process with like companies and ensure that our process is not making the BSI issues worse.

I consulted with your organization a number of years ago, and I recall the process was one of the better ones for the way the business operates.

Unfortunately, I don't know that many other historic Lawson clients that have a business operation similar enough to your organization that could truly compare notes, so to speak. The one I can think of is in the healthcare field, with roving nurses, but I don't know if that occurred intra-pay cycle
