We are on Lawson HR Suite 8.0.3.  We are converting Canada employees onto our system.  Canada requires paychecks for Quebec residents to be printed in French.  Has anyone already done this using the Lawson PMTOUT file or some other means of Lawson data as input?

Lawson stated they have partners that will print the checks and all that is needed is to check the French language indicator on the PMTOUT file and send the file to their partners.  We spoke with their "partners" and they do not do this.

Any help would be great.

This from a Canada based client:

Language_code is in the PMTOUT file. It's the language preference field from the Employee table. We provide our vendor with a translation table for pay statement headings and they refer to it if the language code for the associate is French. We've encountered no issues printing in French.

Thank you RAGU.

Can you share with me the third party vendor you use for printing checks?  And so you send the pmtout file to the third party vendor (all generated in English) and the records with the indicator - the vendor goes against the translation table... is this correct?
