update Training classes for attendees

My HR department is looking for applications/ hardware that will allow them to scan or swip badges as you enter training classes then take that data collected and update the Lawson Training module.

Does anyone know of a program that would assist in this process?

we use standard hand-held bar code scanners to record teh employees badge id (employee number), then add a few fields needed for TR21 and then upload via add-ins.

Thanks Margie, so for my budget planning i would only need to cover the cost of the handhelds and no other software was required, correct?

It is my understanding that they are plug and play. You may want to verify that with the hand held scanner vendor.
