We just brought EMSS up and gave our users the ability to log in from home. It would be good to collect some usage statistics if we could.

Has anyone used Google Analytics with Lawson in an external environment like this? Or do you have any other recommendations for getting usage statistics?

If you have control of the webserver, I've had some luck using webalizer ... but that was a LONG time ago and maybe there are better options available now.

Implementing Google Analytics will require modifying the content (e.g. you have to embed the GA tracking code) within the site; not impossible but like Greg suggests, another alternative is to use a web server log analyzer. Here are some suggestions:
