Hello,
I am new to Lawson, We have Lawson 8.0.3 on HP UNIX 11.23 and Oracle 10g.
As per SOX, we need to comply the password policy such as 90 days expiration/password length/history etc.. Is anyone done this? I have few thoughts on this.

#1. Is there any way we can tap in to company Active Directory or call windows API 'NetValidatePasswordPolicy' for the Lawson users?

#2. Is there anyway we can modify java code in the logon.htm (OR modify any other file) for the password policy.

#3. Do we have any other option to accomplish this?

#4. Does any one did in the past about the password policy for the Lawson environment?

Is your lawson ldapbind to AD?

Jimmy, this is 8.0.3, and ldapbind is only for LSF9.

mka, since you are on HP-UX, you can install "logan remote" on a Windows server, and use that as the web server for Lawson Portal. You then use AD authentication for the web server. This satisfies only part of the requirement (Portal users), but still leaves the "LID"/batch users. For those, you would need to use something that works in conjunction with HP-UX to authenticate against LDAP/AD (in other words, it's an HP-UX issue, and it's outside of Lawson),
