I'm looking for something cheaper than IBM's $3000.00 compiler.

Yes, RedHat is supported now, but we've found that through our research that it is far from a mature platform - at least where Lawson is concerned. We are "looking" at making a platform change from Unix to Windows as we install Infor10.

Did you look into purchasing the C compiler?

For Windows you don't need a C compiler.
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

We are also looking into this change.  Has anyone actually done this?  Are there actual issues or FUD?

What does "not a mature platform" actually mean?

I think at the time that we were doing our research, there was 1 customer that was actually live with Infor 10 on Linux. Several others (which I took to mean 2 or 3) were in the midst of being installed.

I'd love to talk to some people who have gone this route.
