Printing Lawson reports from Unix

I would like to hear from anyone who is running Lawson on a Unix server to find out how you have your printers set up. 

We're in the process of upgrading our apps and env to 9.0.1 on a new server and we need to set up all of our printers again and we're hoping to find a better way of setting up the printers than what we have done in the past. 

We used to have all of our printers set up locally on our Unix/Lawson server which worked great, but for some reason our Unix Admins don't want to do it that way anymore.  The last time we upgraded and moved to a new server, they set the printers up on a CUPS server, which works ok but can be a pain trying to get some of the printers working correctly.  We also experience a delay when sending reports to a printer, which our users are complaining about.  For this upgrade, they want to use a Windows print server using the "Print Services for Unix" option, but we are having trouble getting our reports to format correctly.
  

I'd like know how those of you, who are running Lawson on a Unix server, have your printers set up.  Do you have your printers set up on a Windows print server, a local Unix print server, a CUPS server or some other way?
