Does any one know how to rename (change ID and carry over its history) accounts in LSF9 (LAUA) MSS and ESS access? Is it possible? Where does this takeplace?

We have to create a new ID when their name changes. I don't believe there is a way to carry their history over.

When you delete a user, doesnt it give the option to copy to a new user account?

It doesn't copy their security roles only jobs and reports. Besides we use ISS because we are federated with Landmark the Lawson Security Tool would only update the LSF side and would leave the Landmark info alone.

And be careful if you have LBI and any published reports under the old id. It has been very much a challenge for 2 users here who've changed their names.
