If there is such a thing...But, I can't figure this out.
We are implementing RoleBased Security (Check LS = Y) for Ess/Mss for portal and one thing I cant seem to get to work for Manager Self-Service is the Drill on Employee Information piece in the Direct Reports listing. Basically, I just want to get rid of some of the links in that Employee Drill Menu: Current YEar Earnings, Deductions by Quarter, etc...
We dont need managers to see this stuff, and I have resticted access to the files I thought would make these links disappear.. but just not happening. Any ideas?
(Side note: I did accomplish this in LAUA, by simply removing access to the Table and/or Fields that corresponded. For whatever reason that effort is not working with LS)

Those links are coming from the returned XML file from the drill engine. One option is to change the Object Rule (.or) file, but that's global change, meaning that will also affect the drill in HR11.1.
What I did here is to override the XSL file in managers.htm, XSL file transform the output XML into HTML so that it will render the page as HTML (the one on your screen shot). You need to copy the drillTOhtml.xsl file to a custom file and then put a logic to filter out the links that you do not want to see. Then use that custom XSL to call the drill in manager.htm file, if you search for 'drillwind' in manager.htm, that's the part where you want to override the XSL file.

If the managers are also ESS users, try to check the ESS security class and remove the files from there, if there are files that are required in ESS then my comment above is applicable to remove the links.
