We are looking to move Purchasing and Receiving from Lawson to Ariba. But we would still want Lawson IC to be updated for "I" type items. We are thinking about using IC500 to interface an IC Receipt transaction. Anyone doing that differently or have any thoughts?

We just went through the demo but have not purchased or implemented as or yet. My understanding from the first disucssions that they have a good number of Lawson customers. We are looking at E-Procurement solutions for our next fiscal year (July) and they are one we are evaluating.

We are currently integrating Ariba and lawson at the issue of the Purchase Order. The receiving is done in Lawson.
I think the approach you are taking you will want to use IC500 and also the AP520 to interface the invoice payment after the po has been received and matched in Ariba?

I have that same question. Here's my offer:
We are going the route of doing Ariba as their procurement module. I'd be interested in talking to anyone who has Lawson and had to do the initial load from Lawson data into Ariba. More specifically; if you have written some interfaces from/to Lawson/Ariba or Ariba/Lawson; I'm authorized to potentially work a deal with you to get your code so that I can cut down the amount of time it will take us to get the data loaded from/to Lawson. Please send any interest to lpallett@edpstech.com with subject of Procurement so I can contact you.
Thanks!clear
