Multiple distribution link on PO 20

In Portal version 8.0.3 on the Line Detail Description tab on PO20, why does the Mult link only display after a line is added? We are trying to customize this screen and would like to set up the Mult link as a column on this customized screen. Any suggestions?

My guess is that it's a different behavior in LID vs. Portal. That link doesn't have a text label value until the back-end transaction processes (PO20 reads the value of the label from the messages utility so that it can be displayed in different languages). I'm assuming you're going to customize it via Design Studio? If so, try and see if setting the ".Text" property to 'Mult' doesn't solve your problem.
