Financials Audit Reports

We have been looking over the audit reports for BN/HR/PA/PR to see who changed what and when, but have had trouble finding corresponding reports in the finance area. We are most interested in CB/AR/AM/GL. I saw some posts stating that the financial audits are not so good unless you are running Lawson Security and Portal.

We are running the 9.0.0.9 environment, 9.0.0.5 apps, and have most of our users in LSF. Only 12-15 LID users remain (also the ones with widest access).

What type of report setup should be done in the Lawosn Security Administrator? We are also reviwing the setup screens in the portal to make sure we have any auditing flags truned on that we want active.

Have you looked at the new financial audit capabilities that Lawson has provided with version 9 apps. There may be a patch that you may apply but please check which version of the apps you should be on and whether or not the patch would help.

Lawson has now added financial auditing to CB,GL and AM and you can now run reports in Lawson to find out who changed something and what did they change.

To take it a step further we have added smart notifications that look at these tables that come with financial audit and tell us instantly who made these changes and what changes were made.

For those going to CUE, what day/time is your presenation? I may have one of my finance people that is going try to sit in.

I am unable to attend CUE this year, but would be very interested in seing the slides of the presentation.
