After the closing of period 7 it was discovered that there were two PR entries in period seven with posting date for period 4 and period 6. We need to fix these dates into period 7. I have opened period 7 for back posting and tried to un-release the two entries so I could correct the dates but the system will not allow that. Is there a way to correct these dates? Our concern is if we have to open up to say period six to do some correction then the one PR entry dated within that period will then post in period six. Thank you for any assistance that can be provided.

I opened the period in question, period 7, but was unable to unrelease the two PR entries with the bad posting dates. is this because they are generated from a subsystem? Thank you.

What lawson version are you on? I just tested it (in 9.0.1) and was able to unrelease and move a payroll entry to another period without any issues. Don’t have access to a v10 product line right this sec...

We are on version 9.01.6 for apps and 9.0.1.11 for environment. The PR entries in question have a status of historical because they are in a period that is closed. I am not trying to move the entries but just trying to correct the posting dates to the period they are in which is period 7. Thank you.
