Merging many vendors

Hi, we have many one time vendors that we need to merge into permanent vendors. Normally we would run AP115, but this can only be run for a single vendor at a time. Is there an easy way to merge a large amount? We have hundreds.

what we did at a client site is write a 4GL routine that will read a csv file containing from/to vendors, and then change the parameters and submit AP115.
I suppose the same thing could be accomplished using Process flow
