Connecticut has issued new withholding calculations effective 8/1/2011. Part of this change includes calculation withholding for an employee (new or transfers) that begin CT withholding to be calculated differently than an employee that has had CT set up prior to 8/1/2011,.
We are a Lawson and BSI customer. BSI has indicated that Formula 4 will need to be used for employees that begin CT withholding after 8/1/2011. Since PR05 does not default the BSI Formula to PR14, it seems a manual process will be needed to monitor for new hires or transfers into CT. This means manually updating the PR14.
Has anyone else come up with a better process? What are your plans to handle this requirement?
