Absence Plan with 0 accrual

We are integrating with leave management system and planning to use LP70 to interface the accrued hours. I do not want absence plan to do the accruals though we will be enrolling the employees in the plans and executing LP140\197\198 jobs to complete the processing.

The key for us was setting up a custom calculation which returns zero and set the accrual rate to be based on that calculation, as you can't simply enter zero as a value for the accrual rate - the system treats it as a blank.
